Chief Operating Officer

Ahn young ha sae yo (Hello). I was born and grew up in Seoul, South Korea.  The first work experience as a social worker was at Eastern Social Welfare Society, an adoption agency in Korea for over 10 years. Then moved to US to study for Master degree of Social Work from University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee.

For 20 years, I worked at an international adoption agency in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 20 years providing adoption services including home studies, post placement visits, Korea camps for adoptees and adoptive families. I was the Korean society liaison for Korean adoptive families. Instructed training for foster families, and social workers for Eastern Social Welfare Society. I feel there are sympathetic insights through the wide experiences working with adoptees, birth families and foster families as well as birthland tours. It’s a privilege, joy and blessing to my life to be involved in an adoption field. It also has brought me back to Korea almost 100 times.

Serving at the children’s ministry of a Korean church in Tulsa over 20 years is another joy for me. I like to watch documentaries and movies based on a true story.
